Description:
The single device wall plate is designed for installing a single Series 44+ device in a rectangular (4-5/8" tall by 4-1/8" wide) or round (nominal 6" diam.) opening. Our single device wall plates come packaged with intumescent paper gasketing for sealing between the device/plate and assembly. As well as wall labels for documenting installations in the field where projects specifications require penetrations to be labeled.
Plate Dimensions: Nom. 7-1/2" tall by 7" wide
Advantages:
- Quick installation in new construction
- Allows for installation in round and rectangular openings
- Includes intumescent gasketing eliminating the needs for a sealant or putty between the device and assembly
Disadvantages
- Only suitable for new construction, can not be used in retrofit application where cables are existing
