Holdrite - Overview
Holdrite was founded in 1982, focusing on the plumbing space, manufacturing pipe supports, fittings, cleanouts, gaskets, and other plumbing tools. Recently expanding into the Mechanical and Firestop space. In 2017, Holdrite was acquired by Reliance Worldwide Corporation, aligning them with SharkBite Fittings, Cash Acme control valves, John Guest fittings and fluid dispensers, and EZ-FLO Eastman appliance connectors.
Advantages:
- Robust Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio protecting their Cast-in Device offering
- Cast-in Device has a significant perceived value with unique features/functions that customers prefer
- Leverage relationship with Plumbers to win firestop business.
Disadvantages:
- Currently private labeling Rectorseal Collars, Wrap Strip, Putty and Sealant as their own
