Structured cabling penetrations are one of the most challenging conditions to achieve reliable smoke and acoustical seals in. The need to accommodate for frequent cable Moves, Adds, and Changes demand solutions that can reliably and consistently achieve proper seals regardless of cable volume. Traditional methods of sealing require the installer to remove and reapply putties or carefully cut away cured acoustical sealants that glue cables together.
EZ-Path® Smoke and Acoustical Pathways overcome these hurdles by incorporating seal-sealing internal gasketing that dynamically adjusts to any cable load. The internal sealing system provides a consistent smoke and acoustical seal while allowing for frequent cable upgrades and additions without gluing cables together or requiring manipulation after cable changes.
With options available for walls, floors and drop ceilings, EZ-Path® Smoke and Acoustical Pathways partner with EZ-Path® Fire-Rated Pathways providing end-to-end protection regardless of construction type or cable demands.
